SarahHMaking Technology Work for the Writer - with Sarah Higbee and Ian BlackIan Black

Thursday 14 May 2015 @ Heene Gallery, Worthing

Technology is just a word, but it can cause a surge of fear and dread in some people. Technology is designed to make your life easier and more efficient, but this is only true if it suits you and your working style. In this talk Sarah and Ian aim to look at many of the ways in which technology can assist the writer, some of these may match your working style and some will almost definitely not. The answer is to use what helps and avoid what doesn't. Also, computer software can be expensive, we will be showing you various options and types of software, much of which is available free if you know where to find it.

Both Sarah and Ian will be happy to try and answer your questions about writing related technology. Hopefully the definitions of common technology terms running in the newsletter will have prepared you for a fun evening - there will not be a test on the terms, we promise.
