About us and where we meet

Members of West Sussex Writers are an eclectic bunch. We have scriptwriters, literary novelists, science fiction writers, poets, saga writers, dramatists, creative writing tutors, children's writers, journalists and biographers – among others - in our midst. Many, but not all, are published. Some have a lifetime of writing experience, others are at the start of their writing career, and a few haven't written anything yet.

Our aim is to help writers in all genres, to encourage their work and offer advice, if wanted, towards publication or gaining a wider readership. We achieve this through a mix of talks, workshops and competitions, offering something different at every meeting.
